Exploring Lake Atitlan's villages with a focus on

Mayan culture today,  yesterday,

its resiliency and traditional healing traditions

24 July - 2 August 2019

Well, yes, and hang out at our favorite place,
the lovely  POSADA SANTIAGO
for as long as I could get it - 6 days, 5 nights,
with a day in Antigua on either end.

We will start out in Antigua for the festivities of its
saint's day - St James (Santiago de los Caballeros)
on July 25.  There are always fun experiences
planned, including a procession, for that date.

Then we will travel to the lake and focus on not
only its beauty and age old sacred energy,
but also local indigenous healing practices,
Mayan spirituality  and culture,
which includes weaving and its significance,
past and present, for Mayan women.

Well, yes,
then there is the pool, hot tub and sauna.
(Be sure and bring your swim suit)

We will work with local Mayan spiritual guides,
including making a spirit house with Dolores,
individual time with Juana Xiloc and
 discussions about comparing  various
indigenous healing practices.

Luis Duarte, (my fabulous qi gong
instructor in Antigua)  Click here
will join us for a day of learning, practice
and individual consultations.
In the world of Chinese medicine,
Qi Gong is moving qi - your energy -
for the purpose of healing.

Dr Kent Bream has been bringing medical students
from the University of Pennsylvania to work with
the local community for years.  They learn how to
practice western medicine while respectfully
integrating  local indigenous healing practices.
We'll meet with him about their experiences.

We will work on balancing and recharging ourselves
along with discussing new research
on the role nature plays in healing.

I personally send out a lot more energy than
comes in, and I need to do something about
that !!   I'm sure I am not alone.

As lovely as the Posada is, we can't just stay there the entire six days, so we will will also explore many of the villages of magical, mystical Lake Atitlan,
visiting weavers in San Juan la Laguna, San Lucas Toliman, Santa Catarina Polopo and San Antonio Polopo.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in one of our last spots.
Price is $2,250.00.  Best is to email, skype lizafourre or call 612 825 0747.
I hope to see you soon in Guatemala !!
